What is the difference between certified and standard translations?
A certified translation is commonly referred to as a stamped translation, official translation, or sworn translation. All of these terms refer to the same thing: a certified translation. A certified translation is prepared by a certified translator with a valid authorization from the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. There is a complete match between the source document and the translation. Certified translations in Slovakia and most of the world are usually required by institutions where a guaranteed and verifiable match between the translation and the source text is necessary. A standard (non-certified) translation is used wherever a certified translation is not required. Clients usually use it for non-official purposes, and once completed it is delivered in electronic format (.doc). A standard translation is prepared by a translator without special authorization, and the match between the translation and the source text is not guaranteed by the authority of a certified translator.

How much do your translation services cost?
It is very difficult to answer this question unequivocally without knowing what type of document it is. To determine the price, it is necessary for us to see the document to be translated first. The most important factors in determining the price are the scope and language combination. Once we have all the necessary information, we can tell you the exact price in a few seconds.
I would like to use your translation services, but I am not from Bratislava, is it possible?
Yes, of course. Just send us an email with the document to be translated, the target language, and your phone number. You can arrange the translation from the comfort of your own home within a few minutes. If you are unable to pick up the finished translation in person, we can send it to you by post or electronically.
