A certified translation of a document is provided exclusively by a certified translator with valid accreditation from the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. Certified translations are often colloquially referred to as court translations, translations with a seal, notarial translations, or official translations.

What does a certified translation look like?
Certified translations are usually in paper form. The translation is connected with the source document by tri-color ribbon and includes a translator's clause, the round seal of the certified translator, and the translation identification number.
